Halloween Spider

Please listen to my poem, Halloween Spider.
Halloween Spider
Big black spider on the ceiling
Resting
With the whole class of kids talking
“Who put it up there?”
“You did it.”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Yes, you did.”
Mrs. Rhoades touches it
It slides down on its silk swiftly
With the whole class screaming continuously
Some kids jumped on the table
Some broke the world record running to the door
The whole class acting like a zoo with a bunch of frightened animals
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”
